Your GPS and MapQuest may not provide the most direct route to Blacksburg or Clay Corner Inn unless you input 401 Clay St. SW Blacksburg. Drive to exit 118B off I-81, exit U.S. 460 West at S. Main St., go nearly 2 miles and turn left on Clay Street (not right).

From I-81

Take Exit 118B (U.S. 460 West) off I-81, middle exit on the 118ABC exit lane. Follow U.S. 460 West to Blacksburg/Smart Road exit (5.5 miles) and South Main Street to Clay Street (2.3 miles). Turn left on Clay Street. At the second stop sign, Clay Corner Inn is on your left, cream building with flags and window boxes.

Or continue on U.S. 460 to Virginia Tech / Southgate Drive (right at the traffic light). Turn onto Southgate, then left on duck Pond or Spring Road, right on Washington, right on Kent.

Clay Corner Inn main house faces Kent Street where it meets Clay Street. Look for cream color house, American and state flags, white mailbox.
