NORMAL STAYS CANCELLATION POLICY: We request a 48 hours before check-in time (2 days) advance notice via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. No shows or less than two days in advance will result in full payment of your booking. (please note premium stay dates below)
DEPOSITS: We do not charge at the point of the reservation, however depending on certain factors such as demand, length of stay, and number of rooms booked, there may be a pre-authorization placed on your card in advance. If there is ever any question or concern we always encourage you to call us directly.
BALANCE DUE: Reservation balances will be finalized to the card on file inside the 48-hour cancellation window. The full amount will be finalized at that time and any charges occurring during the stay will be finalized at checkout.
CHECK-IN: On the morning of your arrival you will receive arrival instructions. Accessing the home and room you have rented is a very easy process. We want your stay with us to be safe and comfortable.
CHECK-OUT is 11 a.m. Let us know if you need a late check-out and we will try to accommodate you. When able, we extend the first hour as a courtesy time after 12 pm will politely charge a $25 fee.
GUEST PARKING is limited to one vehicle per rented unit. We supply a parking pass to display during your visit. If there will be more than one car let us know and we can explain the options.
TAXES: The lodging tax is 12.3%.
PAYMENT ACCEPTED: VISA, MC, AX, Discover, traveler’s checks, cash.
SMOKING: We are SMOKE-FREE. Cigarettes, cigars, vaping, and candles are not permitted in guest rooms, houses, or anywhere on the Clay Corner Inn property. A cleaning fee of $300 will be charged, even after checking out, for guests who ignore this policy.
Some of our rooms are pet-friendly! There is an option to add a pet fee during your reservation.
If there is any evidence of a pet in a non-pet room or without making us aware of your pet, $300 will be automatically charged.
A stay may be considered a premium night(s) if the area demand has spiked. In most cases due to an event i.e. football games. A nightly minimum is often required and will be noted on the reservation software when this applies. For certain events such as football and graduation, we will have a required deposit. These deposits may vary.
Premium Stay Dates
Spring Graduation: One-night deposit at the time of reservation; full refund up until January 1 of graduation year; cancelation after January 1 will result in loss of deposit, cancellation inside of 60 days forfeits entire stay cost; full balances are taken after January 1; two-night minimum
Winter Graduation: 30-day cancellation policy; $300 deposit; two-night minimum
Football including Spring Game: 30-day cancellation policy; one-night deposit at the time of reservation; cancellation inside of 30 days forfeits deposit, cancellation inside of 14 days forfeits entire cost; full balances are taken within 30 days of game, two-night minimum
August Move-In Week: two-night minimum; one-night deposit; August 1st cancellation policy, cancellation after August 1st forfeit deposit
Block Reservations or "Whole House"
(3 or more rooms)
A 25% deposit will be required to book three or more rooms at Clay Corner Inn. With limited inventory booking large amounts of rooms with the risk of cancellation can displace the opportunity to fill these rooms.
A 14-day cancellation policy will also apply to block reservations. Cancelations within 14 days will result in loss of deposit.
